Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, Sydney
ARC is pleased to announce a one day training course in object couriering, offered in partnership with Global Specialised Services and Momart.
This course is designed for museum professionals who assign, organise and/or act as couriers. Using a seminar format, the course will focus on the role of the courier, freight terminology and handling, problem solving in the freight environment and courier management and expectations. The day will conclude with a loading demonstration. The course will have a wide appeal to a range of museum professionals including registrars, curators, conservators and exhibition project managers.
Speakers at this event include agents from Global Specialised Services, Stuart Brown from Momart and Charlotte Davy from Te Papa.
